Hiu-sing is pursuing a Doctor of Musical Arts degree at Bienen School of Music, Northwestern University, and having graduated from the Juilliard School and the University of Music and Performing Arts Munich. He was the winner of the New York International Artists Violin Competition and the Adelphi Chamber Orchestra Concerto Competition. 

In the 2023/24 season, Hiu-sing appeared as guest concertmaster with the Cologne Chamber Orchestra and as soloist with the Camerata Salzburg. Another notable solo performance was of Brahms’s Violin Concerto with the Hong Kong Sinfonietta.
